This is our first hide. Being a chemist, this seemed to be a natural name to the hide. Who knows, maybe we'll eventually place livermorium or ununoctium!
This is placed at the base of a tall hill that seems to be camoflauged in the neighborhood south of the town's high school. We live in the area and didn't notice the dominating feature for years. The high school has a cross country route that runs around the base of the hill and this cache is placed just off the trail. (edit: cache had to be moved. It's further up the hill now) On the sides and at the top are several make-shift lean-to's that must be a product of the local teens. Hopefully the cache will remain safely hidden from young muggles that like to use the hill for whatever mischief that kids get into these days.
The original cache is a small lock & lock container with a log and pencil, a chemistry-themed trackable, stencils, dinosaur erasers, and other assorted children's trinkets.
Permission for placement of this cache was given by the high school principal, Mr. David Munoz.
