Geocache Description:

Sometimes Time travel can be achieved without any fancy equipment.

Here in Bury step into the dark side and enjoy the Tups Summer Solstice if you dare

Are you brave enough to enter the Kingdom guarded by The Hairy Back?

Are you happier tinkering on your Piano?

Are you more comfortable sat in front of the goggle box?

Are you affraid of the Dark or scared to enter the light?

A gathering is planned to sort out the Wheat from the Chaff.

At the given coordinates you can enter The Grants Arms Hotel and enjoy a bit of Geo Chat over a drink. Later there will be a walk around the locality guided by The Hairyback himself otherwise known in these parts as Hillgorilla.

It is not expected for there to be any food available at the venue but plenty of establishments are nearby that can provide sustenance to the masses.

The walk has been adjusted to allow a picnic part way round and this section will be suitable for all attendees.

There are to be in excess of 40 new caches varying in difficulty, some of which that may not be for the faint hearted. The Beast of Bury has promised to TRY and get those brave enough to partake, back safe but who knows what lingers in the shadows of The Tups Arse...or on the slopes of Stubbins?

It is planned to meet up midday and the event will run until 1:15pm for full on Geo Chat.

Then after the event the "Stupid", Nay Brave ones will embark on their wander around the Tups Arse.. with The Beast leading the way.

One thing to be aware of, The Hairyback has insisted that there will be no freeloaders here, To log a find within the group, you MUST place your mark upon the Log sheets of any of the hides ye shall find.

Good luck to ye all and make merry at the Tups Arse Summer Solstice, The shadows await thee.

There have been some strange goings on up near The Tups Bottom recently and hot off the press is this recording of an unknown creature inside one of the tunnels that can be found near the event.
Make of it what you will, the recording is not very clear and expert analysis is being undertaken as I write this.
