GSTroop10646: The members of Girl Scout Troop 10646 say thank you to everyone who found this cache. All the girls in the troop have graduated and moved forward in their adult lives, and the troop has disbanded. With that comes archival of this cache. 340 finds over a 7 year period is pretty exceptional! This beautiful butterfly garden is now available for placement of a new cache.

Geocache Description:

This cache was hidden by Girl Scout Troop 10646.

Welcome to the Butterfly Garden at Markham Park!

In order to earn the Girl Scout Bronze Award, our Junior Troop designed and built the 11 informational plaques and the bench that you see along the path of the Butterfly Garden. As we were finishing up the project, we thought it would be fun to hide a geocache within the bench. And so we did!

You will have to look carefully to find our cache. We did not simply slap it underneath the bench.
No way, we are much more creative than that!

Please bring your own pen to sign the log, and take care to return the cache to its proper hiding position. Then, take a stroll through the Butterfly Garden and learn all about Florida's native butterflies!

$1.50 per person park entrance fee on weekends and holidays only.

Update as of 3/7/18: The cache is no longer on the bench, but very close by.
