Geocache Description:

The erection of a large grist-mill on the west side of Salt creek, during the first decade in the last century 1800, was the beginning of the town of Richmond Dale, Ohio. Today, little remains of the Mill, with the exception of a few concrete foundations, and the basement of the mill.

Every fall, the small town comes alive with the Salt Creek Valley Festival.
