The Split Rock State Park section of the SHT is one of my favorite sections of the trail along the north shore. Enjoy the views of the the Split Rock river and all the waterfalls.
The cache is on the Split Rock loop of the SHT through Split Rock State Park. Just like the name of cache, which comes from the song "Take me to the River" by Al Green, implies you see a beautiful view of the river at every turn! The dificulty in this cache is that it is a bit a hike to get to. When you get to the Split Rock SHT bridge you are close. Recommended parking is at the Split Rock SHT parking area.
