Picnic in the Park Event Cache

As one of Geocaching's summer quests (if you want to collect souvenirs), cachers need to attend an event between 3rd July and 2nd September.  So here is the BuckiFairy to make that nice and easy for those who don't want to travel too far away to do so.

Family friendly event in Hazlehead Park 3pm - 5pm.  Bring along a picnic, meet some other local cachers, give the geokids a chance to meet others with a "weird" hobby and enjoy the sunshine!  It WILL be sunny!*

For now let's say to meet on the large grassy area opposite to the rose garden entrance where kids can run about freely and play with footballs / frisbees / Nerf as has become typical at these events! The alternative was the grassy area in front of the kids park but might be hard to keep track of smaller kids here especially if it's busy. This depends who is taking kids and what ages so can you please add this to the attending log.   Please check back nearer the time for exact location in the park to be confirmed!  

*Given it's July in Scotland, there's every chance it could rain.  We can meet in the cafe for a cuppa instead.  Judgement on the morning of the event based on weather there.
