Geocache Description:


Welcome to lovely, historic Putnam, CT!  Check out the George Washington Memorial Tree on your way downtown.  Once there, explore the path along the Quinebaug River.  It's a beautiful paved trail with historical signs and a few caches of its own (especially if you brought a kayak!).
(Park along the inside road...do not try to pull over on busy Rte 44!)
