The Popkum Community Trail accesses Cheam Lake from the south side. A beautiful, short hike through a marshy wetland and hilly forest ending at a viewing platform overlooking the lake. The hike has short sections of steep hill and is muddy in sections when wet. Good for kids (toddlers can walk it with help, but no strollers!)
The initial cache goodies are good for techie dad and mom, and kids. Trade nicely, sign the log, and repack well (it is a rain forest after all!).
