Placing the first cache in a new pocket park in the Smoke Rise area, not far from Hugh Howell Road and Old Stone Mountain (Five Forks Trickum).
While not large, the park offers a heavily shaded walk through nicely maintained trails inbetween suburban neighborhoods. A number of custom benches and picnic tables if you need to take a break from a long day of caching.
Stored in a standard ammo cannister, so lots of room for goodies.
Hugh Howell, the cache's namesake, was a local attorney and landowner, but not much information seems to be available on him. He was influential enough in the area to have a road named after him that thousands see or use each day =) This is an easy little cache in a simple little park, and hopefully will be a little fun!
The cache is initially stocked with a handful of nice goodies, pens, a geocoin from elsewhere, and a logbook. Please keep hidden. More geocaching materials will be placed in it soon.
