2015 MGS CITO Cache In Trash Out® Event

Please join the Maryland Geocaching Society in our annual CITO on Saturday September 12th at Piscataway National Park at 10 AM.

The Maryland Geocaching Society is partnering with the National Park Service in hosting a CITO event at the Accokeek Farms at Piscataway National Park on September 12th. We will be helping the park get ready for their big Food For Thought Event held a couple weeks later, by cleaning up the trails at the park that parallel the Potomac River shoreline. The Park has a spring cleanup on the trails every year but the way the currents run in the Potomac River, trash accumulates frequently on the trails near the shore, so we will help them with a cleanup in the fall.

The CITO will be from 10AM-Noon with a picnic to follow at their outdoor pavilion from 12:30-3:30.
