Geocache Description:

This cache is to continue the little series of caches for fire stations, which started on the 7th Dec 2014.

Starlite came up with an idea of a series to do with Fire Stations, though I'm not sure if this is because she admires the great work the fire services do, because she likes driving fire engines (The background is actually her driving one!)  or if it is because she likes blowing kisses at every fire station & fire engine that she sees!!

Heanor station is a retained duty fire station under Derbyshire Fire & Rescue. Every week, each station on the Retained Duty System has a drill night for its firefighters, in order to practice skills and continue training. The time for this station is every Tuesday 19:00. So if you around the area at this time you may see them in action. The difficulty rating is due to the high possibility that a muggle will be stood next to the cache!

If you wish to add to this series, please feel free to contact ourselves through this link
