The Sackville Ski Inn operated a convenience and takeaway store from this site for decades. In the 1970s the Browns reputedly offered the best milkshakes made with local milk from cows pastured on the rich floodplains of Currency Creek. The business operated on the site up to 2014 when it closed and the property sold. A new business, Tractor 828, opened on the site in August 2015.
