Part one was held just after a snow storm so we were only able to clear a path through two fallen trees. This time we'll complete the work on the trail itself.
This is a nice little nature trail set up in the 1990s. It doesn't appear to have been maintained recently, so I decided it would be a good CITO project. The trail was originally defined by long branches, which we will restore. One of the nature signs will need to be replaced in an appropriate spot so there will be some post-hole digging also. Bring work gloves, water, snacks or lunch, heavy-duty rake, chain saw, PHD.
Sign ins start at 9:30; work will start about 10 and should be done by 2.
Ice chest with water, some snacks and swag will be provided.
Date has been changed for the last time so participants can earn their Earth road trip badge. See you on Aug 22!
