Park n Grab at one of the many bridges up the Awatere Valley.
Last winter this bridge became close to washing away, with the area that you are probably parked on disappearing into the stream and the road only just joining the bridge still. Amazing how a small stream can change in a flood. Cache is tucked away where it should be safe.
