The Castle Traditional Cache

This cache has a lot of "curb appeal." 

This cache is on the location of a local apartment building. The local history of this building is hard to find and is more or so, "word of mouth." When looking at the front of the building, a cross is sanctioned above the highest point of the complex. This historic building was once a nunnery in earlier times and then was converted to an all girls school. Bats and pigeons are a local residence to the roof of the building. Close by is Holy Name Church right around the corner. The Catholic congregation in Ebensburg was formed about the year 1827, when a frame church was built on the northeast corner of what is now the old Catholic cemetery on Julian street opposite the present brick church. Happy hunting and watch out for any muggles nearby!
