The Sedalia Museum and Gardens were created to preserve the history of Sedalia and Jarre Canyon. The Gardens surrounding the museum are part of the Douglas County Master Gardner program, meaning that gardeners who work the Museum plots receive credit toward their Master Gardener volunteer commitments. . The gardens are award winning xeriscape gardens, showcasing plants that work well in Colorado.

The Sedalia Museum and Gardens opens for the season on in spring Come view their new exhibits on Wednesdays from 1 – 3 PM and Saturdays from 10 AM – 2 PM. The gardens are always open
