The Girl Guides of Canada (GGC)was founded in 1910, with a commitment to providing girls and young women opportunities to have fun adventures, learn new things, give service within their communities and build leadership skills. In 1949, GGC began to acquire camp properties in response to the girls’ enthusiasm towards camping.
