Geocache Description:

A number of Peacocks live at this location. They wander around and sometimes they will eat the bugs off the front of your car. They are very quiet and will generally sit still for photos. Please do not hurt them.

There are a lot of open spaces up north and areas like this provide good spots to stretch the legs and take time out of sitting in a vehicle. Also great for kids to have a run around before finishing the journey between Broome and Port Hedland.

This area is prone to cyclones during the wet season and at times has had extensive damage. Unfortunately it was destroyed by fire a few years ago but is now operating again.

There is a humpy with local information. It makes for quite interesting reading. There are a few bits of old machinery there too for people to have a look at. Some of them are very interesting too.

Thanks to the owner for giving me his permission to place this cache.

This cache is a white nano. Yes, another dreaded nano! Please bring your own extraction tool and writing implement. Make sure to put it back exactly where you found it please. It really isn't a hard find so shouldn't take too long if you don't want to spend a lot of time here. For those that have the time it is well worth having a look at the information available.

Congratulations to AAMOFIDOTR for the first to find.
