Now an area of grass and young mixed woodland popular with dog walkers, however this area used to be known as the "Bing" and I believe was reclaimed land using spoil from the local mining industry. It can be accessed by walking along the foreshore path that is now part of the John Muir way trail.
Container is a large screw top bottle. permission kindly granted by Scottish Natural Heritage to allow the placing of this cache
