Hope you enjoyed the trek up to the ridgetop. From this cache you will be looking out over Pleasant Valley and can even see the road. On the way up you have noticed past treatment effects to the forest and current bug activity. Much of what you walked through will be thinned again for insect prevention and hopefully keeping the forest green. You might even see a deer or two along with elk activity. While the walk up was steep and exhausting, enjoy the views and terrain from the top. If you bring a lunch or snack, there are some good places to sit a while and just soak up the surroundings. If you are going on to the other caches, stay on the ridge top to the next two. It makes some ups and downs but that just keeps things interesting with the terrain changes. If you really want to explore, there are some good cliffs and rock outcroppings off the sides of the ridge. There is something gold in the cache for the FTF and a few other goodies.
