This cache is located in one of the older neighborhoods of Redmond. It's one of the few areas within the city limits that still has acre lots, and once housed a mink farm. In many ways it is a wildlife pocket. Inhabitants include coyotes, a cougar, deer and, most recently, a black bear who is feasting on trash day. The cache can be easily reached from powerline trail or by car, with parking very near the cache. It is on the opposite side of the road of the mailboxes, and no special equipment or bushwacking is required. Blackberries are also not a problem. Really a great cache to find with kids.
