iowaPete: There are BIG things happening at the Field of Dreams!! A new stadium is being built nearby for an actual Major League Baseball game next summer. The NY Yankees are coming to town. Because of it, the area around this cache is now off-limits. LOTS of construction equipment making some big changes.

As much as I want to keep this cache going, it needs to be archived until the construction is complete. IF there's an opportunity to place a new cache nearby after the stadium is built, I'll make it happen.

Thanks to everybody who came out and chased the cache. I hope it made you smile....

Hidden as part of Hike-n-Seek 2015

Fun, quick, Kid-friendly cache

Welcome to the Field of Dreams movie site.  This cache should be a perfect way to spend a little time sightseeing as well as geocaching.  Take in the grounds of the baseball movie site that starred Kevin Costner and James Earl Jones.  A little hike over even ground will take you to this location.  It can get squishy after a rain, but is usually in good shape.  Cache contains a log sheet, and a bit of swag. Please trade evenly. Replace as found, CITO when appropriate, but most of all, enjoy your visit!
