sunflowersu: I hate to archive this, but the area is not maintained, overgrown (not mowed), tree is old (much of it is dead), branches are laying on ground. No other place to put a cache. It was great while it lasted! Thanks for visiting.

In the southern most area of Vermillion Cemetery lies a cache honoring my great-grandparents. Their resting place is not far from the northern entrance. This should not be a difficult find. However, in snowy months the snow could be deep. Search only during daylight hours. Bring a pen. A camo container with a new travel bug dogtag for the FTF. If the FTF does not want the TB tag, it may be left in the container for the next cacher.
My great-great grandparents and great-great-great grandfather settled on a farm north of Hayesville in the 1830's. My great-great grandparents had six sons and four daughters. George Elza (b.1857 d.1946) was one of those sons. He, along with his wife, Lucy (b.1855 d.1949) lived on the farm most of their married life. There were two houses, so my great-grandparents and my grandparents lived and worked on the farm during the same time. I fondly remember the farm, as I visited often during my first six years of life.
