Please take note of these saftey instructions:-

Watch out for adders. If bitten keep calm and seek medical attention.

Keep to the way-marked routes. The Mosses are riddled with deep, flooded and partly-vegetated ditches.

Do not smoke on the Mosses at any time of the year. Even small fires can cause extensive damage.

Do not collect plants or animals.

Keep dogs on a lead from March to July, and otherwise at heel.

Watch out for metalwork, projecting roots and branches, tree stumps, holes and tussocks

Postcard Installation

We want to encourage people in Ellesmere and the surrounding areas to take part in creating a huge installation which will express how local people feel about ‘their place’.  We are distributing postcards and inviting anyone to respond to any or all of the following questions:

What do you think is special about living here?

What landscape, view, walk, wildlife, building or place is important to you?

What one thing would you tell someone about this place if they asked?

You can respond in any form you like, e.g. with a painting, a drawing, a print, a photograph, a collage, a piece of writing, a sentence or a poem!  All we ask is that your contribution fits on the 6x4inch card or keeps to the same dimensions.

Thanks for taking part!
