Welcome to The Great Geocache Race!
This is the 8th geocache in a series of 20 geocaches (and possibly a few bonuses!). Each geocache will contain a key. I do not know which geocache contains the correct key. The first to find the geocache gets the key. If all goes well, a new geocache will be posted on Wednesday and Saturday of each week through the beginning of July. There will be a potluck held in July where a “treasure chest” will be located. Each worthy cacher is welcome to try the key(s) they have obtained in the process of finding the 20 geocaches.
Be sure to read the plaque - it contains some pretty interesting history! Lots of parking available - accessible going southbound exit 140 or coming through Oakland.
