Geocache Description:

This is my first geocache so I have placed it so that is easy to find. It is placed close to the Tarka Trail between Bideford and Instow, not quite but almost, under the Torridge Bridge which carries the A39 main road over the river. There are immpresive views across the estuary and down towards Instow.

This is the 1st of a series of Caches I have placed along the Tarka Trail between Bideford and Barnstaple.

Walkers and cyclists will have the easiest access. Parking for cars is available at various places along the B3233 Instow road. Keep an eye on children as this road can get busy. A scrammble through the hedge gives access to the trail with a short walk to GZ. Wheelchair users may need help to get on the trail but once there it is flat and the cache can be found within 2ft of the tarmac. Bring your own pen. Good Luck !

Please ignore large Tupperware box fastened to fence post. Look on other side of trail.

Placed with the kind Permission of Devon C.C.
