Bonnie Rae Park (Future Development)

Bonnie Rae Park

Bonnie Rae Park, named for Bonnie Rae Barsness was acquired by the City of Mount Vernon in 2007 for future development. It is roughly 10 acres of land, half of which is part of the Maddox Creek project. Future plans include adding playfields and converting the homestead into an event center to be used for weddings, parties and small meetings.

The residence is currently rented. Although technically this is a park, we prefer to treat it as a private family residence. The cache is not located on the park property, but you can get a good view of the future park from its location.

There is parking close to the cache location. A nice woman lives nearby, and watches the parking area. She has been told about this cache and may even wave at you!
