My mom used to cut the grass in this cemetary when she was a kid.  She told me a story that one spring, the ground had settled and her feet fell through the earth while she was pushing the lawnmower.  She said she left the lawnmower still on, and ran home without even looking back.  The eebie jeebies got the best of her and she never cut the lawn there again.

Side roads and cemetaries are full of interesting people, memories and unique things.  Take time to visit the graves.  We saw a resting place tonight with a football and drum sticks.  Somebody must have loved sports and music.
