Ogo Green Flower Pasture
An Ogo Green Flower Pasture is located on the south foot of Mt. Akagi. Many animals such as sheep, ponies, rabbits and so on wait for you. There are shops and restaurants. In addition, approximately 500 cherry trees are planted. The Cherry Blossoms Festival is held in spring.
There is a windmill at the listed coordinates as a landmark of the pasture. You will find a signboard of the windmill written in Japanese. A set of coordinates is written on the lower right of the signboard. The words "東経","北緯","度","分", and "秒" mean "east longitude", "north latitude","degrees","minutes", and "seconds", respectively. The cache is placed at -8.64 seconds for east longitude and 2.06 seconds for north latitude assuming it is the WGS84.
By the way, there is a webcam in the pasture. The area taken by the webcam may change by a day. Figure 1 shows an example taken in a rainy day. Please upload your photos taken by the webcam or something in your log on this page optionally.

大胡ぐりーんふらわー牧場
赤城山の長い裾野の一角に大胡ぐりーんふらわー牧場があります。牧場のほか、地域の特産品などを扱っている花木農産物直売所や道の駅があります。バンガロー施設やバーベキューガーデンもあります。500本ほどの桜の木があり、桜の季節には夜間照明されているようです。
牧場の中に風車があります。表示の座標はその風車を指しています。その周辺に風車に関するデータが記述されている看板があります。その中に座標が書かれているのですが、日本測地系(Tokyo Datum)の値になっています。これをWGS84の値とみたてて、キャッシュは東経に関して-8.64秒、北緯に関して2.06秒、ずらした場所に設置しています。
ところで、ここはライブカメラに写る場所でもあります。写っているエリアは日によって変わったりするかもしれません。 試しに写ってみたものをFig.1に示しています。この日は小雨が降っていたので傘をさしていました。よかったらライブカメラに写った画像をアップロードしてください。
