The cache is situated on a small river a stones throw from the sea. It drops a few feet as it exits from under the rail line and although it's a small river the noise can give the illusion of a much bigger river. Although the location is easy to get to the cache can be tricky in wet conditions so do wear appropriate footwear. Also please bring a pen or pencil as the cache is too small for one.
This cache is on a small river a stones throw from the sea. This area is frequented by grey wagtail, an assortment of finches and the occasional blue tit. Some less common birds seen here are whitethroat, sedge warbler and dipper. During low tide the exposed rocks at the coast are frequented by resting terns and cormorant and shag as well as numerous species of gull.
