Geocache Description:

Peek in to the clear waters and spot bubbling spring water and small bulbs. Those small bulbs are Mare’s Eggs, a form of algae that is rarely seen in such abundance. Comprised of a small leathery outer sack and a gel-like center, these eggs form in low-nutrient water with constant temperatures.

This cache is part of the Klamath Basin GeoTour. First launched in 2013, this tour highlights some of the great natural wonders Klamath County has to offer. Crystal clear waters, beautiful vistas, mountains, evergreen forests and ample space create the perfect environment for outdoor enthusiasts.
