Congratulations to Cavyguy for another FTF! I was amazed at how long it took for someone to finally grab this one.
This is a small cache located just off the Beach Lake Trails. It is a camouflaged soda preform container. The Coordinates were very jumpy and I averaged them for some time. Please feel free to send me yours if you come up with better coordinates.
Ladybug Kids began caching August 30, 2004. What can you say about LadyBug Kids or LBK as he is frequently called? Where would Alaska Geocaching be without him? LBK has worked tirelessly to promote Geocaching in Alaska. He is our Greatland Reviewer. All Alaskan cachers, and those caching in Alaska from other states, owe him a hearty thanks! He is ranked #8 on the top 100 Alaska Geocachers with 8,326 finds (visit link) . He has hidden a total of 166 caches. This includes 123 Traditionals, 11 Multicaches, 2 Letterbox Hybrids, 16 Event Caches, 11 Mystery caches, 1 Webcam, and 2 Earthcaches. He has placed caches is some of the most beautiful places in Alaska. I have found 11 LBK caches. His Blacktail Ptarmigan cache GC1ZZ6N is one of the best caches I have found. It is hard to get to, but it is well worth the effort to find this Ammo can not in the woods. I really enjoyed finding his caches on the way to Denali, and his Earthcache "Making of Potter Marsh" GC1EHA8 is a favorite as well.
All who find this cache please send a thank you to LBK!
From the Mountainside Moores, THANK YOU LADYBUG KIDS!
