I place this cache in this special place to honor the lifetime connection that began at this park :) The cache itself is a push to open and lock container that can hold small swag and trackables. Remember to BYOP to sign log and please place back as you found it. Use stealth and watch for muggles. Trackable waiting for FTF. Welcome to Greis Veterans Memorial Park. Whether you are here to enjoy the pool, watch a baseball game, swing in the playground or splash in the sprinkler park....Greis park has it all. It is also a host for many outdoor fairs and concerts, that is usually centered around the beautiful gazebo. The Gazebo was gifted to the people of Lynbrook to honor Fred A. Greis by his sons in 2002. Greis park even recently won third place in the Best Park of America contest sponsored by Coca Cola Co.
