Binevenagh Forest Trail has been designed with cycling and walking in mind providing a 3 mile (5 kilometre) route through Binevanagh Forest.
Observe the soaring birds and gliders from the local gliding club making use of the updraughts caused by the impressive cliffs. These cliffs have been designated an Area of Special Scientific Interest due to their geological and geomorphologic formation and the corresponding vegetation. At the bottom of the cliff there is a standing stone that has become known as the Finn McCool Finger Stone relating to the famous giant reputed to have lived in the area. Visitors can enjoy the views of the surrounding countryside, Lough Foyle and Donegal from the route through mixed mature larch, spruce, fir, pine and broad-leaved woods.

The cache is a micro, the log is extremely small and you will need a pen to sign it. Any logged finds without a corresponding signature/initials on the log will be deleted.
