Placed in winter when there were no boats on the water, no swimmers on the beach and the curtains in all the holiday homes were drawn.
This is such a different place in summer.
Access to the cache is via the Kaka Pah Point carpark. There is a track but it is not maintained so take care.
The gate to the carpark is locked at 6pm, so if you want to access the cache after that you'll have to walk up the hill.
