When Lake Mokoan was drained and transformed into the Winton Wetlands, work began to create a bike trail from Benalla. It will go through the wetlands and eventually join up with the Mountains to Murray Trail in Wangaratta. At this point, this is as far as it has gotten. We found it by accident when out looking for another location.
To get to gz you are best off entering from the Benalla truck bypass as further down the road there is a section that can be impassable due to water over the road. The container is a 1.2L sistema filled with the usual swaps, a log book and pencil. Beware of snakes during the warmer moths
