Geocache Description:

Posted coordinates are not real, but they will put you in the general area.

Charles Schulz stated at least once that he found certain words to be very funny. Indeed, words such as "BONK!," do turn up frequently in Peanuts. Well, it was around 1980 that the Peanuts creator seemed to latch onto a new favorite word, "Zamboni"!  The word first appears in Peanuts in 1980, and, with increasing frequency, comes up 50 times in the following twenty years! (The Zamboni company's own website makes proud mention of this fact!)

At first, Snoopy's close friend, the loopy bird, Woodstock, takes care of ice maintenance with a used tea bag.  Later, Snoopy introduces the Zamboni. Eventually, it is Woodstock who takes care of the ice with a Zamboni--the ice in question being that which forms over Snoopy's supper dish and the ice of their hockey rink, aka: the bird bath.

Charles Schulz grew up in Minnesota, where, as in my own hometown in Canada, winters are cold and neighborhood pick-up games of road hockey are the norm.
