Geocache Description:

Old Trinidad Train Station - the restaurant has moved so there is not too much need for stealth. No need to climb up on anything- quick park and grab.

Not much is listed about the Elm Street Train Depot. However, I did find a passage in an old booklet circa 1927. It states “the new Colorado & Southern Railroad passenger depot, just completed at a cost, with all improvements, in excess of one hundred thousand dollars. This building is of attractive red tapestry brick, trimmed in white sandstone, capped with a beautiful red tile roof, and prodigious enough to accommodate the heavy passenger traffic it enjoys, and artistic in every detail is a distinctive asset to our city. It's 5 approaches of hard surfaced pavement furnish convenient ingress and egress to the public.

Since its closing in about 1967, it has been a youth club, micro-brewery, and a few restaurants.
