If you go down to the woods today you're in for a big surprise! This is not intended to be easy; even if you solve the puzzle then finding the cache may prove tricky as it's only a tiny log sheet. There is no large clip-top box to stumble upon by chance, no room for swappables, trackables, stickers, FTF souvenir or even a pen. It is worth a mention for the FTF though as many have been struggling to solve this and it had taken over a month to be first found. Well done to Longtailedkite for claiming FTF after much battling and persevering with the puzzle. There is no geo-checker included on the page either, but if you solve the premise of the puzzle then the answer should jump out at you. If still unsure of your answer feel free to check the cords with me via email or the new messaging link at the top of the page if you want to make sure you are right before going hunting for it. Remember that there is a parking charge at Linacre reservoirs if driving here which is £1.50 for up to 2 hours or £3.00 for the full day.
On the plus side I am setting this as a D5 difficulty cache because of all the layers of solving, decoding, converting and hunting you'll need to go through to find it, so you can earn an elusive D5 tick.
As this is a D5 cache then I kindly request that anyone finding it leaves the cache concealed as they found it, and avoids putting spoiler photos or descriptions in your logs.
The monkeys are waiting. They will mock if you walk past the cache. They will not see you, they will not hear you, they will not speak to you, but they are wise and they are infinitely patient this irrational number of monkeys.
"Good Luck!"
For anyone still up for the challenge then read on...
