Geocache Description:

You will be looking for a green/brown vitamin bottle that is medium in size with some swag, a log, and no pencil which means bring your own.

Another in a series of caches in a loop through the Tillamook Burns.

These caches are somewhat of my favorite baradam caches, and I love rural caching. What can I say? When you place this combination together you just can not say any longer, "You can lead a horse to water, but you can not make that hay burner drink!" Here will be many historical typical stump caches, the only thing is which exact location has a edge on the other but then you might find the root of my evilness. Or should I say, the grandeur of the country road, a mix of trees and hiding amongst the stumps, trees and ferns.

Hope you too enjoy the challenge of another baradam cache, not just a box on the ground but great scenery and lots of fun.

Please try to keep the environmental impact down but I know this is a tough one.

For the most part all caches are located where there are wide spots in the road. Storey Burns road is relatively smooth and can be navigated with most car with a medium clearance although some rocks from the banks can roll into the roadway from time to time, normal even on many highways. Especially during the week log truck can be present and use the CB radio on Channel 3 at this posting. They will use mile markers as they proceed up and down the hill so be aware. At the time of placement there were over 20 vehicles, 2 bicycles, one forest ranger, one county Sheriff and a gun club of five vehicles, not exactly a traffic free road. A good ear will hear most traffic before it gets to you in most cases though I would not make it a habit to play a "deer in the headlights" or should I say stand in the middle of the road and play chicken with a 4x4. Most people will not choose the bank here, so bug juice you may become. Again, one to two vehicle an hour usually driving relatively slow.

This series has many terrain ratings and lots of different difficulties. Although most hide in the "Phase 1 Storey Burns Series" are placed in the classic baradam stump, stump root, log or near large rocks. The satellite through the trees and banks will keep your GPS'r on the move. These caches were placed headed north up the hill to limit the crossing the road.

This should be a fun run but they are not on the flat. Neo planted most of the caches so it will be a good one to check out her planting skills.
