My second series of caches is a circular walk of approx 4 miles starting off from Smithwood Common where you can also find another two of my caches. The route is mostly on public footpaths and passes through varied countryside including both woodland and open fields with some stiles to cross. There is a short section along a narrow uphill lane where you should take care especially if you have children or dogs with you. Allow approx 3 hours for the circuit.
Caches are mostly of the Traditional type with the addition of three simple Multi-caches and one Letterbox. There is no Bonus to collect this time so you could attempt them in any order although if you do not follow the numbers then you might need to backtrack with the Multis. Containers vary in both type and size with a few different outer containers to keep you amused.
Watch your step just before the given co-ords as the footpath has become badly eroded by water running downhill. Here you will see a bridge over a stream. In true Letterbox fashion, finally now walk approx 200 feet due south to find the cache in a camo bag. In a small labelled plastic box you will find a Letterbox stamp - this should NOT be removed from the cache.
Congratulations to AnTsInRpAnTs and sham69 on joint FTF.
