This is the seventh in a series of caches highlighting a bit of San Jose history. Sometimes, when they change a street name, changing the signs doesn't obliterate ALL traces of the old street name. After you find the cache, travel south to the stop sign and inspect the curb/gutter near the sign to see the original, better name of Newport Ave. This is a cache only, bring a writing utensil. Check your pocket for a tool, if needed. A bit of stealth may be necessary.
