Geocache Description:

The 21st of June is the date we acknowledge the Winter Solstice this year for the Southern Hemisphere. From this date the days will grow a bit longer every day and bring us nearer to summer, so let's celebrate with an Event Cache.

From Wikipedia:  "Winter solstice is an astronmical phenomenon which marks the shortest day and longest night of the year."

When:  12.00 noon to 2.00pm. Sunday, 21st June 2015

Food/Drink Options:  Sunday Brunch menu which includes an All Day $10 Breakfast or select something off the full menu. Kids menu also available.  Pay your own way.  You will be able to order lunch from the upstairs bar which is conveniently close. Copies of the menus are in the images section below.

This is an ideal opportunity to meet the people who have created some of the interesting and memorable caches in the Wellington region.  We have noticed that there have been, over recent times, an increase in the people who have started caching and have been placing caches. As always, new cachers are most welcome.  Come along, bring the whole family or any friends to share the hospitality and atmosphere, as event gatherings are a terrific way to meet fellow geocachers.

Got a question over a puzzling hide or that tricky puzzle?  You can always try your luck with the Cache Owner or a recent finder to see if they will divulge some small cunning secret.

Please post a "will attend" log if you plan to come along, with the number of people in your group, so we can give the Restaurant an idea of how many will turn up.  The area we will be in is upstairs, come in the door and take the stairs to your left - we will be at the top.
