[Ro] La apogeul "Epocii de aur", Gara Mare din Cluj a devenit prea aglomerată. Ca urmare, în 1976, s-a construit în apropiere o altă gară destinată în principal preluării trenurilor de navetiști. Numită oficial Gara de scurt parcurs, a fost numită de clujeni Gara Mică sau Gara Nouă. Odată cu scăderea fluxului de călători, toate trenurile au fost comasate în Gara Mare.
Gara Mică a fost închisă în 2011, iar acum zace în paragină, numai Gară Nouă nemaiputându-se numi!
[En] At the apex of the "Golden Age", the main railway station in Cluj became overcrowded. Thus, in 1976, a new station was constructed nearby with the main purpose of taking commuters. Officially named "The short-distance railways station", local people called it "The Small" or "The New" Station. Once the passenger flow started to decrease, all trains were pooled into the main station.
The "Small" Station was closed in 2011, and now lies derelict. It can no longer be called "The New" Station!
