Geocache Description:

This cache is for those who don't mind getting off the bitumen and exploring the beauty of the natural bushland. The cache is a micro, well attached in case of flooding. Phone service is poor or none.

The cache has a log only, bring your pen.

Mountain View

In amongst the lush subtropical rainforest is the tiny village of Cascade. Continue west on Moses Rock Road from the cache The Winds of Jarrah-The Mill (GC5V3ZA) and you'll come to a hidden picnic area complete with waterfull, swimming hole, seat and toilet. Though access is by unsealed road the surface is good but in wet weather a 4WD may be needed. Also in the area is the Mobong Walking Track, the historic tramway and the Platypus Flat Camping Area. Definitely worth the drive to see the unspoilt scenery and history of the area.

It's also possible to access the cache from Tyringham Road at MoonPar Madness (GC27286) following Moonpar Road - Mills Road - Cedar Road.
