Geocache Description:

[LT] Lobis paslėptas prie Mažeikių Šv. Pranciškaus Asyžiečio, geriau žinomos kaip naujosios, bažnyčios. Reikia būti itin atsargiems, kadangi šioje vietoje retai nebūna žmonių. BYOP.

[EN] Cache is hidden near church of St. Francis from Assisi, better known as the new church of Mažeikiai. Extra stealth required, because usually here are a lot of muggles. BYOP.

[LT] 1992 m. susikūrė grupė, kurios tikslas buvo pastatyti mieste antrąją katalikų bažnyčią ir atkurti parapiją naujoje miesto dalyje. 1994 m. birželį būsimosios bažnyčios vietoje pašventintas kryžius. 1996 m. gegužės 12 d. naujosios bažnyčios statybos teritorijoje, virš iškilusių būsimojo centrinio altoriaus pamatų, buvo laikomos pirmosios Šv. Mišios, kurias laikė Telšių vyskupas Antanas Vaičius. Tą pačią dieną buvo pašventintas ir šios bažnyčios kertinis akmuo. 

Bažnyčioje kasdien Šv. Mišios pradėtos laikyti 2004 metų rugsėjo 17 d.
