Geocache Description:

This walk is special to us as it's around our home village. Route is around the pretty Doomsday village of DIPTFORD, with its 13 th century church, St. Mary's, built 1227, and has one of the oldest broach spires in the country. DIPTFORD was home to the famous DIPTFORD Greys, a beautiful breed of chickens. The village school was originally built in a corner of the churchyard as a poor house. Moved to present position in 1846 by the Rev. William Cooper- Johnson.

for number 2 park by church and walk back to cache. Please look around church when walk completed.
