Geocache Description:

Another in the rapidly expanding Church Micro Series Church of St James, Defford.

This Grade II listed building has grown with a Nave from the 13th century, a Tower dating back to the 14th Century, alterations in 16/17 and 18th century and a Belfry added in the 19/20 century. The The well maintained building and grounds stand several feet above the surrounding roadways in a commanding position above the sleepy village of Defford. Please take care when looking for the cache, it is in a rather overlooked position, an easy to find small magnetic Nano is in place to not raise too many suspicions .
