Geocache Description:

I haven't seen this particular cache container yet in Tahoe, so have fun finding this one! We saw FOUR bears here today - yes four - so make sure your geocaching adventure doesn't turn into an unintentional safari!

My family grew up near here and frolicked in this meadow for decades. Now it's your turn to enjoy the scenery. Feel free to walk a few hundred yards further away from the street to find yourself in a beautiful, open meadow with a river running through it! This cache is located near the remains of an old wood fort, so be careful for rusty nails and splintery wood. Cache placed by my 7 year old son.
