Geocache Description:

This geocache was our first hide as a Girl Scout Troop, as part of earning our geocacher badge.  Everyone was really excited about it!

For the last 53 years, local Girl Scout troops have had an annual camping trip where they are tested on their camping and survival skills.  For as long as we've been a troop, and many years before, it has been at El Dorado Park.  There's a lovely Horseshoe Lake complete with families of ducks and geese, an archery range, bike rentals and a nature center.
